This vessel was woven in honour of the old folk customs kept against envy, spite, and ill wishes. Layered with botanicals long treasured for warding and anchored with iron, it draws on the humble protections once placed at thresholds, worked into household charms, and passed from one generation to the next to turn malice aside. Sealed beneath black wax and finished with a Hexafoil charm, it stands as a reminder that another person’s bitterness need never be allowed to take root in your life.

Long honoured in traditional household folklore, iron nails are gathered to pin down ill wishes, anchor protective intentions and strengthen the symbolic boundaries of the home.
The Shield Keeper - Black Peppercorns
Long treasured for strengthening boundaries, black peppercorns are gathered to discourage unwanted influences and reinforce the quiet strength of the home’s protective intention.
The Old Ward - Garlic
One of the oldest protective herbs in traditional folklore, garlic is gathered to strengthen protective boundaries, encourage resilience and honour generations of home-keeping traditions.
